Favorite Breastfeeding Items

Embracing the journey into motherhood can be a beautifully complicated experience, and one aspect that often evokes a myriad of opinions is breastfeeding. Amidst the sea of advice and perspectives, I believe it is essential to remember that every mom's journey is unique, and choice matters most.

If you've chosen to breastfeed or are contemplating it, this post is for you. Below, I have curated a collection of some of my favorite breastfeeding items that can help make this process smoother, more comfortable, and allow you to enjoy the time spent a little more. • My number one recommendation is again an insulated straw water bottle, with a handle for staying hydrated

  • I was sent this one and also have this one

• Silverette nursing cups

  • these are an amazing alternative or add-on to traditional nipple creams and balms

• nipple creams

  • I liked this one and this one the most since they were clean ingredients

• a breastfeeding pillow

  • I loved this one because it clipped and stayed close to my body + supported my son but there are a lot of other options out there.

• snacks!

  • finding and creating easy-to-eat-with-one-hand snacks was essential for me. I loved dried fruits, unsalted nuts, granola bark, KIND® bars, and cheese sticks.

• burp cloths

  • I loved this specific brand not only for my son but also for me; it was one of the only things I could use to cover myself in those early days of breastfeeding as my body adjusted

How you choose to feed your baby can come with a lot of emotions (and opinions) so finding products that work for you and baby to make the breastfeeding journey more comfortable is really important.
